So about the only bright spot at the MTV Movie Awards last night (imho) was this…
Another trailer for the Suicide Squad movie…If you are not familiar let me fill you in…Bad Guys doing Good Guy things or they die. Jared Leto will be playing the essentially the third version of the Joker (not counting animated or drawn versions), and the first since Heath Ledger in “The Dark Knight”
So far Jared looks like a crazy meth head joker…should be interesting…I digress…
As a comic aficionado I can certify that this film looks…solid…WAY better than Batman vs. Superman (Sidenote: Batflek or Ben Afflek’s Batman has a cameo in this film) and since they both take place in the same universe (think similar to how all the Marvel movies are in one universe) I look forward to seeing how this film will fit into the larger DCEU (DC Comics Extended universe – again think how all the Marvel movies are in one universe…it’s what they are goin for).
And in case you are wondering…
Chris Hemsworth won’t be in it…

If you aren’t a crazy loser who loves his comic collection almost as he loves his family you’ll be fine. I am 100% sure they will cover origin stories for all the characters so I don’t need to explain who Deadshot is or why that one guy looks like a Crocodile (A Killer Croc to be exact….hahahanerdjoke)
